Appointments Types

Patients are able to book telehealth appointments, if appropriate, by calling reception.  Our standard private billing policy applies.  It is a medicare requirement that you have attended this surgery for a face to face consult within 12 months to qualify for a Medicare rebate.

A standard appointment is required if you have a single non-urgent condition or routine problem, scripts, referrals and minor ailments to consult with your doctor. It is a 10 – 15-minute appointment.

For all care plans, mental health consultations, workers compensation claims or for patients with multiple problems to discuss.

For cervical screening, breast check and contraceptive advice.

For private or commercial drivers medicals when renewing your driving licence.  This appointment type will include assessment time spent with the nurse before seeing your doctor.  For all other types of medical, please contact reception.

For all childhood and adult immunisations and catch up programmes.

There are many types of Health Assessments available to our patients.  Please contact reception and speak to one our nurses to discuss eligibility and book an appointment.
